Well, we did some research on that. We wanted to understand better where the guilt lies. It sometimes seems easier to just ignore them and get on with your life. We would like to share one theory with you.
We hold on to the ambition of wanting 'everything' at the same time.
To be a nice mother, to have a successful career, to be fit, to always look like the latest trends, to be an attractive partner, a kind, considerate friend, a caring daughter, and and and and... It is often impossible to keep all the balls in the air. And if we drop one, pats boom, guilt. Failed. Failed.
The 'everything' we try to achieve is not defined by ourselves. It is determined by others and social roles in life.
So you don't want anything anymore? Of course not!
It's about defining your own individual 'everything'. You are good the way you are. Or even stronger: you are fantastic. You do you and you never have to feel guilty about that. #sorrynotsorry
